Afrika Afeni Mills

Afrika Afeni Mills is the Assistant Pastor and Faith Avenue Champion of Grace Communion Steele Creek. As the Faith Avenue Champion, Afrika coordinates our congregation’s discipleship and spiritual formation efforts. Afrika’s favorite passage is Ephesians 3:14-21, and she is so grateful for the width, length, height, and depth of God’s abundant love for us. She is a certified spiritual director through Kairos University’s Listening People to Life program, and in the process of receiving a certificate in Spiritual Transformation from Transforming Center. Afrika has been married to her husband and bestie, Dishon, for 28 years, and they have two amazing adult children and a sassy fur baby named Rabbit.
