Good stewardship is an important component of discipleship. How we use our God-given time, talent, and treasure says a lot about what we believe about God and ourselves. The Steele Creek church plant seeks to be good stewards of the resources we have received. In order to support a new church in the Charlotte area, Anthony Mullins, the GCI Regional Director for the southeast, made a significant financial commitment on behalf of the denomination. This generous funding has given the church plant time to get established. In order to take advantage of this opportunity, the church plant has put in place a three-year plan to become financially self-sustaining.
The church plant has set a goal to raise $36,000.00 in 2023 and sustain that level of giving over the two following years. These funds will be used to reach Steele Creek with the gospel and create a replicable approach to church planting and church renewal for GCI. By the end of the three years, we expect our members to be able to financially support the congregation we will become. However, in the meantime, we are looking to folks like you for support.
Please consider making a financial gift to the church plant growing in Steele Creek. Better yet, please consider making a 1, 2, or 3-year commitment to support the building of a new congregation in Charlotte. Any amount helps. There is information below on how to make a donation. If you are interested in making a 1-3 year commitment please contact Dishon Mills (dishon.mills@gci.org). Even if you cannot make a financial gift at this time, please be praying for our fundraising efforts. Thank you for your support.
To donate, please mail a check made out to “Grace Communion International” to: GCI c/o Charlotte Church Plant, 3120 Whitehall Park Drive, Charlotte, NC 28273.
